Scammers impersonate TopAdmit to recruit for fake jobs on Upwork and other job platforms

A recruitment scam has been brought to our attention where fraudulent individuals posing as TopAdmit employees, and/or Human Resource personnel, request to interview candidates on Upwork/Fiverr and other job platforms. This is a ploy to eventually trick them into paying a fee related to applying, recruitment, training, new equipment, or stealing personal information such as bank account information.

Please be aware that our domain is “www.topadmit.com”. Messages coming from other domain extensions or any other domain should NOT be trusted and are not legitimate.

Remember, TopAdmit will NEVER:
• Charge an application, processing, or training fee at any stage of the recruitment or hiring process
• Request or require new hires to purchase equipment
• Hire candidates without speaking to them over the phone and/or on a video call
• Hire a candidate without several thorough video and/or in-person interviews
