About the service
  • TopAdmit will try to assign you to work with a college admissions counselor having a similar disciplinary background to your own. If there is no consultant with a similar background, we will assign the consultant with the highest customer ratings to you to help ensure that you receive the highest quality editing.
  • Our consultant will then work with you in four collaborative stages.
    • First, s/he will construct an initial outline based on ideas communicated in your initial Skype session; you will then use this outline as a framework to construct your own initial draft essay.
    • During your next Skype session, the consultant will engage you in a detailed discussion about this initial draft and make specific suggestions for improvement (providing a written summary afterward).
    • After you have made these revisions and completed your own second draft, at that point the consultant will make direct changes to your document. This includes improving sentence fluency and logic, restructuring the essay to better express your unique qualities, and strengthening its narrative as appropriate.
    • Finally, you will talk with the consultant again (by Skype) to discuss this latest draft, whereupon s/he will immediately make changes and provide the finalized document to you after the session closes. Work Process
Step 1
Register and fill in your information.
Step 2
Upload your CV and any other relevant documentation and complete payment.
Step 3
The TopAdmit consultant will contact you and offer a choice of three dates for your initial Skype session.
Step 4
After completing your initial session, within 24 hours the TopAdmit consultant will provide you with an initial outline based on the information you have exchanged.
Step 5
Use the provided outline to write a rough draft of your essay and upload it for the consultant’s review within five days. At that point, the consultant will schedule your second Skype session based on your own date preference.
Step 6
After discussing your essay and suggested improvements during your second Skype session, the TopAdmit consultant will provide detailed notes of this conversation within 24 hours.
Step 7
Based on the latest discussion and suggested improvements, you will make revisions to your essay and upload it within three days. Upon receipt, the TopAdmit consultant will edit your essay, to be completed within 48 hours, and schedule the final Skype session with you.
Step 8
During your last Skype session, the TopAdmit consultant will amend your latest draft in real time during the session, and provide you with a finalized essay shortly afterward.
Step 9
Case closes, and you have an opportunity to rate your consultant.
